Laughter BETTER Than Winning

Well in a recent card game, (with numbers and colors), one team was so far behind the other in the points category that the purpose of the game was to "Throw Caution to The Wind" and just bid for control and kicks. This method included one round of bidding without looking at the cards (to a bid of more than 164 and less than 166.) Needless to say the bid was not attained. The last round included three "passes" and one bidder that antied up for less than 21 (but more than 19). [Needless to say that this time around the bid was achieve and in fact it was tripled.] At this point in the adventure, a light was shining on a long awaited dream [to put 5 of the color that is higher than all other colors in the non-playable section,] but this was not all the dream was far exceeded. Not only were there 5, of the color that is higher than all other colors, but the one that determined the color was left with none of this color in his or her hand. And to top all dreams, the point value of the cards in non-playable section was that of 2.5 times the original bid and included a little bird and the card that takes all other cards. When it was realized what was happening by those in participation there seemed to be a lack of air in the room as all had a difficult time breathing (between laughter.)

WOW! When dreams are fulfilled!!

Sniffles!

Recent Game Score

It was requested by one on the many followers, Woman Not in the West, (WNW) [ Please see Ground Rules for Name Posting] that the final score card from a recent game of Seagull be posted on our blog. So please enjoy.

The first picture, in an attempt to protect the participants, was taken from a distance. The score card is located on the second shelf to the left of the boxy object. (Besides you know the family motto, "We are all WINNERS, we just keep score to improve our math skills!")

Ground Rules for Name

In an effort to avoid any Identity Theft; only code names (formerly known as Bowling Names) may be used. And the names may change at any time, though preferrably NOT in the middle of a posting and hopefully NOT even from posting to posting made on the same day or about the same event, etc. Although this rule is NOT set in stone and is subject to change at anytime. Also spell checking is optional so as to throw off any internet search engines trying to track the blog, and NOT just as an excuss for the spelling ability of one or multiple of the posters.

Thanks,

Squeaky
